FlyCI macOS Runners Storage: 2x More Than GitHub's
When we started providing macOS images for GitHub Actions, our images had about 28GB of storage. Gradually, with every image update, the storage shrank to about 10GB, which we realize is absolutely insufficient for developers.
As of today, our images provide 30GB of storage, which is 2x more the storage provided by GitHub (14GB). More storage means more freedom in downloading different tools, saving artifacts and test your apps.
Benefits of using FlyCI macOS runners vs. GitHub's
You might wonder why choose FlyCI macOS runners instead of GitHub's? Here are some reasons:
- FlyCI macOS runners leverage M2 hardware which is proven to be at least 20% faster than GitHub's provided M1 runners.
- FlyCI macOS runners are more cost-effective than GitHub's. See how you can decrease your spending with more than 50%.
- FlyCI macOS runners provide customer support for GitHub Actions. Read more about FlyCI customer support.
